Hi there, I’m Nancy
You could say I wear a lot of (party) hats.
Do you feel like you have any skills that if you said them to someone, they might look at you like you’re a bit of a weirdo? Anywhooo– I say this because sometimes someone will send me a link to a Pinterest board and then I can visualize their entire event. And as the bubbly, hype-girl, it’s easy for people to be surprised by my ultra-organized, creative, detail-oriented, artsy side.
No wonder planning events, starting event-focused businesses, mentoring creatives, and creating BTS content is my literal dream job(s). I’m also currently serving as Director of Communication at AWP (Association of Wedding Planners Houston), so I get to live my vision at a bunch of different levels.
A Letter to You
Sometimes, I feel like I can read people’s minds.
I’m an event planner, content creator, balloon stylist, mentor, workshop facilitator, and serial entrepreneur.
But what really drives me is giving back.
As a trauma survivor, I’ve struggled all my life– only to start finding healing through creation.
At the core of every business I start is the desire to serve through my skills.
→ Creating one of a kind experiences that bring people together.
→ Helping vendors expand their business through reels that get them closer to their ideal clients.
→ Creating content for couples so their family can enjoy the wedding while they get the footage they really want.
→ Transforming creatives into full-on event business owners so they too can create beautiful events.
It’s all connected. I get to live in the center of creativity, celebration, and happiness. And by you coming over to my side of the Internet– we can share this together. Because there’s always a reason to pull out the bubbly and red velvet cupcakes.
