Can you believe it? We’re finally here! My name is Nancy, and I’m thrilled to share my first blog post on our brand-new website! 🎉

Let’s dive right into what this rebrand is all about. After much brainstorming with our amazing designer, we decided to make Nancy from Houston (yep, my personal Instagram handle) the umbrella brand for SugarPlum Event Co. and BTS with Nancy. Makes sense, right? I thought so too!
This rebrand and website have been a year in the making, and launching it alongside the new year feels like the perfect way to start fresh. 🥂 Let me share the journey that brought us here.
The Rebrand Breakdown: Making It All Make Sense ✨
Once upon a time, there was a Michigan girl named Nancy who made her way to Texas and fell in love with creating. It started with stunning balloon installations, and before long, her creativity expanded into wedding planning with the luxury boutique company, Barr Event Co.
At Barr, I found not just a job but a second home, working alongside Maria (my mentor) and our best friend Keri. Together, we’ve traveled to places like Beverly Hills and Sarasota for incredible weddings—and this year, we’re heading to Spain and France! 🌍
But I didn’t stop there. Inspired by my passion for celebrating milestones, I expanded SugarPlum Event Co. to include luxury event planning for social events like Quinceañeras, baby showers, and graduations.
And then there’s BTS with Nancy—my content creation company. This idea came to life thanks to Monique of A Wise Event, who encouraged me to turn my knack for capturing wedding moments into a full-fledged business.
